Olma is not a name that appears that often in conversation about vintage watches, however we believe their Caravelle super-compressors make fine watches to collect and wear.
Swiss-based Olma launched its first series of pocket watches back in 1908, named ‘Standard’, featuring round cases and minimalist finishing. Today the company produces several collections including the more traditional Kingtime range, and the Sea-cup.
The Caravelle Super compressors are not easy to find and as such are highly collectable.
We at Black Goose are particularly fond of the Super Compressors from the 60s- early 70s vintage.
